The Lakes Country Club offers a fun round that will appeal to all golfers. Guests will be pleasantly surprised by the course and their price is reasonable!

The Lakes Country Club is a Par 72 golf course that offers a good test of golf. Greens fees are very affordable and it is open to the public. The Lakes caters to golfers of every skill level. At just over 6700 yards from the back tees, The Lakes Country Club is not a very long golf course. There are four sets of tees and they all present a nice challenge. Make sure to roll a few putts before you tee off as their greens have subtle undulations.

Their golf shop is nicely stocked and has all the necessary items for your round of golf. If you’re looking to play 36 holes in one day, The Lakes is the perfect course for at least one of your rounds. Golfers who are driving in on their golf vacation may want to play the Lakes on their way into or out of the area. The golf course is conveniently located just off South Highway 17.

The Lakes Country Club is spread over a beautiful piece of North Carolina countryside and is just 8 miles northwest of Southport, NC. This is the oldest golf course in Brunswick County. After your round, sit back and relax with an ice cold beverage from the Sunset Grill. If you prefer the outdoors, pull up a chair on the porch and take in the lovely view of the lake. The Lakes features a nice laid back and friendly atmosphere. The staff is courteous and welcoming and their chef prepares delicious meals on site. So, if you’re up to firing another eighteen after your morning round, The Lakes is a great course to take on.
